The third moment you find yourself being pushed, just like Rishi, into something much bigger than you bargained for, something much bigger than him no matter how important he is. One moment you're looking at a man ascending to the role of a CEO and the other you're laughing along with three friends being silly at college.

Maharshi is a film that, while commercially entertaining, is hard to describe. Seeking out his old friend at Ramavaram, Rishi is pushed into something far more than just repaying a debt he owes. But he soon finds out it is his college friend Ravi (Allari Naresh) to whom he owes his success. So much so, that his fear of failure keeps pushing him to do better than he ever wants to. It has always been his dream to achieve success and to not be like his father (Prakash Raj) whom he views as a failure. Rishi (Mahesh Babu) climbs the corporate ladder hard and fast till he's the CEO of a company called Origins. And that is exactly what Maharshi does - going from being the story of a man who wants to dream beyond his means to someone who will go on to be the people's saviour, even if it's not something he actively seeks out. It's not the first time that Indian cinema has tried to address a prevalent social issue through commercially entertaining means.

His friend Ravi (Allari Naresh) needs help, how will he come through? Rishi (Mahesh Babu) is a billionaire and the CEO of Origins, someone who has always strived for the success he now owns. It's just a typical South Indian movie with a message thrown randomly at the end. Why didn't Mahesh Babu's character use his wealth to buy the farmers field earlier, he must have loved the drama. The film's first half and second half doesn't connect, it's just feels like a different movie. Women actors in Indian film industry are not used to their full potential, they re used solely for their beauty.

He offered job to job employers, he left his guests even though they were there just for him, I mean come on that doesn't even makes sense, what were the writers thinking? STOP make this perfect characters or personalities, nobody is perfect!! The ladies in the films are just there for eye candy. We were told he is a college student even though he looks nothing like it and he solved near impossible math problems. Soo disappointed in Mahesh Babu, I don't know if he's actually arrogant or that's how the way he normally acts now.
